No matter where you get 1LE sized wheels/tires from, this upgrade will be expensive. There are tons of wheel and tire discussions on these forums, do some research before you buy. If you want brand new, you can get fronts at and rears at, then hop on over to for some quality tires. Well, I got my set on these forums from the wheels/tires section of member classifieds, the dealership is the worst (most expensive) place to buy anything in general. Or will I need to find an aftermarket shop for this? Would I just go to the dealer and tell them I want the 1LE spec of wheels and they'll get me the information/price on them. One more thing, is it ok to swap over to Manual mode while actively driving to start gear shifting or should I come to a stop to do that? Always afraid I'm going to get into Manual mode and destroy the car by missing a shift. Anyone know if I-95 South is loaded with police lol. I may just go for it as I am going on a trip to Florida in May, may be a good time to just floor it one good time, who knows. And I'm too scared to just floor it on the highway/interstate for fear of a cop pulling me over. I also haven't really pushed it yet, no drag strips around here that I know of that just let the public come in and floor it without racing. Swap them to what? And why is that such a good thing? Is it just better traction or am I missing something? I've also seen a lot of people say the first thing to do is swap the rear tires out. Just not wanting to do anything crazy that voids the warranty just yet before even the first service. Am looking at the Borla ATAK exhaust and possible a Rotofab CAI. I'm also just starting to figure out which mods I want to do. Then it felt like it was trying to get back to where it was from then on for a few seconds I guess trying to get back to the correct gear or something.
I've had it come on a few times but to be honest it freaked me out and I hit the brakes. I am finally just starting to get comfortable with the power of it and I've been looking up what exactly Performance Shift is. Still in the break in period, just hit 2k miles on it.
Got the RS package and Technology package. I Ithought about going for the SS or even the ZL1, but just didn't make sense for my budget.
